California 2010

Asher insisted on getting in the "only girls" picture.

He is actually having fun although it may not look like it.

Aunt and Neice.

I can do it all by myself now.

Labor Day Weekend

Dixie Rock in St George Utah. It was so hot so the hike lasted maybe 20 minutes.

Asher wouldn't look at the camera so Coby made him.

I love this picture of Asher.

We went to the temple on Sunday to let the kids play. Asher found this girl, and tried giving her some attention. She shut him down and he came crying to mama. His first attempt at hitting on a girl was a total failure. He recovered very quickly.

Coby and Asher with Andy's kids Sydney and Caimen.

Asher pondering the mysteries of God at the temple in his Jimi Hendrix t-shirt. He worships in style.

Asha thrasha in August 2010

Among many things, Asher loves to drive. We drive up and down the driveway with him and he thinks it is the coolest thing since sliced bread.

I would like a cheeseburger and large drink please.

Asher's first sucker. He thought it was awesome!
Bath time is always a good experience.

Cupcakes in the yard.

Annual 4th of July trip to the Tetons

Every 4th of July we try to make it up to the Grand Tetons, which happens to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. Here are a few pictures from our 2010 trip.

The sun was shining right in our eyes so this was the least squinty picture we had. The is taken from Oxbow Bend with the picturesque Mt Moran behind us.

Here we are on the Holly Lake trail. This is an amazingly beautiful hike and one of Tina's favorites in the park. We didn't make it to the Lake because we had to make it down to Jackson for the fireworks. They were spectacular as usual. Asher loved them even though it was about 3 hours past his bedtime. He dug the camping and loved playing in the tent and in the dirt in the campground. He had a hard time falling asleep so Coby and I walked him around the campground a couple of times to help him fall asleep.

Asher turns 1

Today was a big day for our little guy (Ok, let's face it, it's bigger for Coby and Tina then Asher). He woke at the bright hour of 6:45 much to his parent chagrin. He must have been really excited! We took him to get his pictures done and ended up chasing him all over the photo studio (mom knew that would happen). Even the photographer worked up a sweat trying to get him to look at the camera for more than 2 seconds. We then gave him his gift from mom and dad. We had planned on taking to the Living Planet Aquarium but he was tired from the pictures. After nap time we gave him our mom and dad gift. it is a push toy (pictures to come). He took right to that thing  except that it kind of pulls him instead of him pushing it. Pretty funny stuff. The day ended with a scoop of ice cream and hot tubbing under an umbrella in the rain. Here are some pictures from his photo shoot.
